That's right, we are going to talk about why YOU should be using dish soap in your clothes washing machine. I read an article that came across my social media page about a woman who has been using Dawn Dish Soap in her laundry for years. I use it with every load.
To answer your questions, no it does not cause your machine to suds up anymore than your regular detergent does. I've never had a problem with it. Yes, you can pretreat clothes by putting the Dawn right on the stain and letting it sit before washing it. I have had favorite shirts that got a little mayo or grease from a burger, and that small oily stain just does not come out - even with regular clothes stain removers. But they came out pre-treating with Dawn! Yes, it is safe for sensitive skin, they use it on baby animals to clean and remove grease and oil. No, I have never found that I put too much into the washer, just a squeeze or two will be all you need.
